So the big bottleneck for getting out some NT supplements in the works is *ME*. A lot of the stuff that needs to be done though is more grunt work than tough design work. So today I talked to a couple gentlemen about taking that on for me.
If it works out, we should be able to significantly accelerate the development cycle - allowing me to release more Naval Thunder supplements, faster, while still having time for new development.
So, keep your fingers crossed! RotB2 will be the test platform.

Yippee! That is if we get to see RotB2 soon. I want to play some "what if" scenarios such as Japan-USA and, of course Germany-Britain with pre-Dreads instead of WWI forces. For that matter, Germany had possessions in the South Pacific so they could join in the mix down there too.
Let's hope that you can get RotB2 out soon!

That's great news and leaves you working on what? LOL Colonial battle fleet print edition Colonial battle fleet raven star & fox Colonial battle fleet empire space those are just the products in active status. If I get bored there are two more nt products partially complete, the cb campaign system and stratofleets also partially complete. Plus rough concept notes on my fantasy and sci fi ground combat games. Finally there are 3 to 4 more cb fleet books in various stages of conceptualization.

Oh. . . and let's not forget, even the ones where I am doing some 'subcontracting'. . . I'm only subcontracting out the fun part. There is still a whole lot of writing and getting the product ready to publish that is not so fun that still has to be done. The only reason I'm subcontracting anything is because *ahem* certain people want their supplements at a rate not really possible so long as I retain all the creative work with just me. So it's either subcontract some of the stuff (and I can tell which stuff to subcontract by which stuff I've been procrastinating on) or everybody just has to suck up a slower release schedule - and one that adheres to whatever I personally find the most interesting to work on at a given moment. . . rather than necessarily what people most want to see.

Well I admit (rather proudly too) that I am anxiously awaiting the release of "Rise of the Battleship II" . . . and I suspect that I am not alone . . . although probably most who are are not on this forum.

Hello, Just wondering if there is an updated timeline on RoTB2. Looking forward to some Spanish American war stuff.
Also are there any plans to release other ship Data for CoD. In particular looking for Data cards for Squadron 6 (USN BBs).
TIA,

I know I will be building a great white fleet once we get close. What about the WWI units that are missing from CoD...will there be another supplement or will these be added to the current ship data cards as an update for those that already purchased since there are not that many of them?

Shooting for end of year for RotB2.
There is a forthcoming supplement for CoD planned for next year. Note that the core rules include comprehensive fleet list for the two primary belligerents.

[hint] Stratofleets is a worthy project...[/hint] Yeah, Stratofleets is one I'm excited about. I have been putting out one core set a year. That might be my first for 2011. To be honest, it will probably be a one-off. But you never know. Bluebear: I will do my best to make that happen!

The Dreadnought,
Hopefully "Shooting for end of year for RotB2." means well before Christmas so that we will have time to order some fleets for under the tree.
