Michael Mathews* got a bundle of Naval Thunder products for Christmas. Anyway, he and some others played two WWII scenarios . . . River Platte and Sink the Bismarck . . . and he posted an account on one of his blogs: campaignsinminiature.blogspot.com/2011/01/wwii-naval-thunder.htmlWith proper encouragement, he might frequent this forum more often. So go to the above site and comment if you are moved to (and urge him to come here). -- Jeff * I originally misidentified Mr. Mathews as Jim Pitts ... sorry, sir.

I am a newbie here since I just picked up Battleship Row and the supplement. I like the AAR and posted on his site as you suggested.
Thanks,
John

Nice AAR. I think that is the first action I have heard of a WWII BB torpedoing another. Must have come as quite a surprise to the Bismarck commander.

Yes, I remember somebody yelled at me for not putting the torps on the Hood. I recall thinking, "there is something that will never see the light of day."

Thanks for the feedback all. I'm looking forward to my next game. I think we'll try out WWI for that one.
