Hi, new guy, played my first game of CB last weekend. instant hit, opponent vowed to buy his own fleet and so on.
Was wondering if there was any progress on getting a print version of the CB core rules? Maybe via Lulu or something? (I'm in the UK)
Thanks

It's about 99% done. . . and has been for some time. Unfortunately, this whole move thing and everything else has prevented me from finishing it up.
Hopefully once I get net access at the loft, that will be something I can complete.
In the meantime, you're probably better off buying the PDF if you do not own it already.
1. It's cheaper 2. You will get updates for free whenever they are made 3. You get the shipbuilder 4. You can print only what you need from the rulebook instead of having to pay for it all 5. A copy shop can make you a nice, professionally bound copy at a very reasonable price, so you can have a "print" version right now if you want one.

And you can place it in a three ring binder of the type you can place the cover on. These are great. I cut all my bound rule books and put them in these.

Hi Dreadnought,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have the pdf. I also got a print shop to put it "professionally" in a binder, which came undone in the middle of the first game :-(
Look forward to getting a printed or Print On Demand copy to go with the pdf. I'd like to have something that doesn't fall apart if I read it in bed!

I feel you should take that back to the print shop and ask them to fix or replace it. That's not an acceptable job from them.
But yes, I'll let you know when the PoD copy is ready to go.
