Just converting over from a long, long relationship with another set of rules, and I am totally smitten with these rules, but have a other WWI ships other than the High Seas Fleet, and Grand Fleet. Is there an expansion in the works to get the Russians, Italians, A-H, and others in near future. Am looking for scenario ideas in the Baltic for a CON., and would like to do German vs Russian. Thanks/ Jeff

There is an expansion planned. Its not going to be out this year though. You can always create 'pretty close' data cards' for the missing ships as others have done here.
What rules were you converting from?

I have played, SK III, and others over the last 30 years, but mostly GQ II, (very heavily modified), but it always was not really what I was looking for. I even designed my own back in the early nineties but due other demands it never got fully play tested, and then I moved on to other periods, but a few times still came back to GQ.
So I have been on a search for a "systems" designed set of rules for a few years, and I have liked what I have seen so far. I there are a couple of things that I think might need tweaked, but I'll reserve judgement until I have a few more games under my belt.
On a side note: I served on the USS New Jersey in the late 80's for 3 years as the Main Engines Officer and then as CIC officer. So I have actually driven once of these beats, and seen and fired the main battery. Which for a Naval Wargamer is pretty close to S.x as you can get.

Jeff,
Welcome, sir. There are "expansions" of a sort for CoD in that there are two "Pre-Dreadnought" expansions:
"Naval Thunder: Rise of the Battleship" -- which covers the Russo-Japanese War
"Naval Thunder: Rise of the Battleship II" -- which adds several more Pre-Dread navies -- US, British, German, Spanish, Spanish, Italian, and Austro-Hungarian.
Now, of course the Russian Navy of the RJW mostly didn't survive to serve in WWI, but they are lots of fun to play in their own period.
