I would like to do a scenario that would require the sweeping of some mines. Anyone have any thoughts. It is for a WWI Baltic scenario. Thanks, Jeff

There are already rules for mines in the Operation Catapult scenario in the Bitter Rivals supplement.
With regards to the mine sweeping aspect I'd keep the rules simple. If a mine sweeper moves through a mine field they clear the field. They must move at a relatively low speed, say no more than 3 and cannot take evasive action. Roll a dice and on a 10 the mine sweeper has detonated a mine by accident. You could say the ship only clears a path maybe 2-3 inches either side of the ship rather than removing an entire section. Also if the ship moves faster through the mine field or takes evasive action then the field isn't cleared and you follow the normal mine rules found in the Operation Catapult scenario.
These are only quick ideas off the top of my head and mine warfare is not an aspect of WW2 naval combat that I know a great deal about.
