If playing no taste for combat and you loose a ship that triggers this role, do you role one die for the entire fleet or one per ship. If you roll for the entire fleet, do you use the flagship rating?

The rule is “whenever one of the listed ships is sunk, the entire force must take a command check that turn or disengage“

Hmmm. . . not like me to write an ambiguous rule like that. . .
Command checks are ultimately a ship by ship mechanic. So each ship would check, using its own command rating.
But you could easily play it the other way doing one for the entire fleet, using the flagships' command rating, or the highest one still left in play.
Up to you I guess. Depends on whether you want that to potentially end the scenario, or be something the player might be able to overcome.
