That would be my girlfriend. She's amazingly crafty and did it for me as a christmas gift. She's also loves to paint minis and will likely be playing with us in our SECOND game of CBF. Did you guys play in a game I ran at a con?

I remember writing that rule somewhere. . . . it it appears to have been eliminated during an edit. Yes, the gunship is intended to be consumed during the boarding process.

Reclassified "Painting and Modeling" to "Painting and Miniatures" so people can feel comfortable sharing info about miniature retailers there as well.
If there are any threads somebody would like me to move there, let me know.

So what was the main technological advancement that created such a disparity in power between the 13.5" guns of the 1890s, and the 13.5" guns of WWI?

Oh, I actually bought the next size up from those. . . or they have changed them a little since I bought them.

I actually have about two dozen ships painted up in 700 scale. Use them to run 'mega scale' games at Gencon. I actually mark off 25' x 25' on the floor and quadruple the ranges.
Do suggest that you go w 45 degree turn limits /4 inches between turns at that scale. Looks better.

We are thinking about it. . . if we ever get to making our t shirts. Had other priorities so far.

There is a reason the unofficial slogan of CBF is "Delta 1 Sucks"

Yes, I remember somebody yelled at me for not putting the torps on the Hood. I recall thinking, "there is something that will never see the light of day."

Yeah, sorry guys. Had every intention of getting both CBF:MvM and RotB2 out the door this month, and I feel that we would have, but we decided we needed to get the house on the market by today, so that's been consuming everything. We are in good shape though. I expect maybe later this week I can finish up the pieces I need to do, then its just layout since the cover is done. Then out the door. So, even though this month is very busy from a 'real life' standpoint. . . I think we can get it finished up and out the door.
I know you guys really really want it, and have been waiting pat. . . . waiting for it. Will get it to you soon!

Great writeup! Sounds like a fun time was had by all.
Yes, fire control is expensive, but does extend your range advantage.
As far as ASGMs go, they are quite controversial around here. The best use for them depends on how far you start apart for your battle, and how many launchers you have. In saturation, they can make highly effective stand-off weapons, and as you saw, they can be helpful in controlling the movement of your opponents. Some people here just like to use them in sprint mode only as deadly shield-penetrating weapons, but I personally feel that is wasted potential. I will say though, that you should mount 2 or 3 launchers, or none at all in my opinion.

It is an interesting idea. I had struggled with exactly what topic to pursue with my 15mm sci-fi ground combat game. Maybe starting with some boarding action rules would be more interesting, and a topic that has not been adequately covered elsewhere.

Progress is being made. . . but feel that even if I get everything finished up tonight, Leslie won't have time to do the layout so we can post it.
We are in the middle of trying to get our house on the market by January 1st, so that is taking priority. We'll see how it goes.
