Slim margins. Get too agressive. Funny thing is I do consistently win games that I did not write. Lol

Wow Warchariot! Nice fleets and great advice. As far as my own contribution I will just point you to the thread in The Head where we discuss how much I suck at playing my own games.

It is true, the Acropolis class are supposed to be the "super-weapons" that won the first war. But do think some tweaks are in order.

I feel that as a game author, I should be able to win consistently when playing them. However, I have found that by and large I suck at playing my own games. What does this say about me?

Re: Centurions - Well I'm not really looking to officially introduce a new die type in this release. Especially not for only one purpose. . . but it does sound like a great idea for a house rule. Wouldn't really have any downside that I can see - aside from requiring an additional type of die at the table.

Flak is not disabled by a point defense critical. Fastgit is correct that flak systems are huge, dispersed systems that cover much of the hull, and are pretty much impossible to knock out. There is no centralized fire control, just dozens or hundreds of individual flak cannons the loss of any one or even several has a negligible effect, and for the purposes of the game has been ignored, since anything that would have a dramatic enough impact to disable significant numbers of the flak cannons, would in all likelyhood destroy the ship. So on a "reward vs. rules" basis, tracking flak degredation is not worthwhile.
You are correct, early cyborgs could not computer infiltrate.
The Raider damage value might be an errata item. I'll get back to you.

Well plus with torpedo hits you're going to be getting so many flooding results, that capsizing at some point will be likely if the damage alone doesn't kill you.
Yamato would likely capsize (as she did) from flooding damage before you ground your way through all 252 hull points. Was thinking of Yamato specifically when writing the rules.

All aircraft are in flights. Pretty sure the rules say somewhere that they will be referred to that way throughout the rules on fighters.

Yeah, RotB2 is not a very big project. . . which is the only reason we're thinking we can still get it out this year. Mostly going to be data cards, with a couple optional rules I think. . .. but mostly data cards just so you guys have more to play with.

Love this scenario. Played it myself back during the early playtesting days, and it offers a lot of excitement. Love to see some pics. Hope you can get them posted!
What were your thoughts on Naval Thunder versus CBF?

She ship database is included in the download package and is an MS Excel file.
Ship lists are extensive. Battleship Row/Bitter Rivals together give you pretty much every significant combatant from the major nations: U.S., U.K., Japan, Germany, Italy, France. You will have stats for many, many more ships than are available in the WaS range.
There are also a ton of scenarios included, so plenty of historical games you can play.
Please take some pics of your games and share them on the After Action Reports board. Always love to see the game in action!

If you wanted to create stats for the Galactica . . . I would say use an Acropolis Refit class, subtract a point of armor, and replace half the fighters with Mark IIs.

Here's a list of suggested miniatures for use with Colonial Battlefleet: Man vs. Machine. If you own miniatures from Fox, or the former Ravenstar line, now you have stats for them. Attachments:
