Yes, the shield facing the ship that fired the grapeshot would be the shield that is depleted if the grapeshot is placed in the same hex as a ship when deployed.

So moved into my new place. Getting settled. Hoping to be able to get back to work on a lot of this stuff that is piling up. The first challenge I have to face though is no net-access at the new pad yet. Hopefully can get that resolved soon though.

See the other thread on the battleship row board. Essentially the designer did not provide the tool. it was created by a volunteer and was so good it was included as a freebie for customers. Ken01 is the keeper of all the tools.

The pdfs are the official version. The card printing tool was done by a 3rd party volunteer, and has only been spot checked. That said, sometimes the tool has been updated w eratta before the pdfs because it is easier to update. However Ken seems to have been busy as of late. But then so have we all.

I'd say just handle it however the shipbuilder does to keep things consistent.

Yeah, pretty sure that was supposed to be in there, just didn't make it into the final version. Its always chaos just before publication. I'll add it to the next update and the errata in the meantime.

This is all you guys. I'm just providing an organized place in which to discuss, because i know you guys will enjoy it, and it will give people something to work with until the supplements are out. I feel you ought to be able to do a good approximation of most ship stats based on the hundreds of examples.
Point values are proprietary, but I can tell you not to waste your time trying to reverse engineer them. Its that complicated. However you might be able to best guess it just by comparing to others and get in the rough ball park.
As new supplements are released you guys can see how close you got to the actual data cards.

The info on wikipedia is usually pretty close, but not always.

If somebody wants to go through and provide corrected stats for the eratta. Whenever I do any update to MvM I can include them.

That should probably be included as a hit on the engines. Did I not say that in there?? Meant to.

I use Conways for all my data.
Hull points are standard discplacement / 250. A lot of people have figured that out just from doing the math backwards, so its not really any big secret. Same with speed. Speed is knots /4.

There's more demand for Naval Thunder ships and supplements than I can keep up with. So, as proposed by afilter in this thread: steeldreadnought.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ntgen&action=display&thread=429here's a board for the community to discuss their own ideas, until I can publish the actual supplements Please indicate which system each thread pertains to, using one of the following tags: BR CoD RotB BR = Battleship Row CD = Clash of Dreadnoughts RotB = Rise of the Battleship We'll try this out for a while and see how it works.

So fleet book for both WWi and WWII? Maybe a combo book? Clash of Dreadnoughts badly needs the WWI fleet expansion supplement. Let me think on what I can do about this.
