If more than one kill, multiple hits, is scored the squadon is lost.

Spithead miniatures have announced they now have sufficient supporters to commission a limited edition set of 1/1200 models of the Imperial and Shogunate fleets for the Boshin War. Spithead work on a "pre-booked" sales system for all their non-core (and very limited interest) model ranges. People who want them, pledge to buy them when they are available. When enough people say they want them, 10 people, the molds are made and that number of sets of models are produced. The number of supporters required is basically the amount of good quality castings that 1 set of molds will produce. If anyone else is interested in getting this set of models they need to drop Spithead a line on Facebook ( www.facebook.com/spitheadminiatures ) and commit to the purchase. Given how long it has taken to get the needed number of supporters for this set it is very unlikely to be available again as it would need the same number of new supporters to run a new set of molds.

This is a question for Dread to answer. All I know is the game works and is fun to play.

Thanks for the report. It sounds like you had a good time and it didn't take all that long to run a campaign. I haven't purchased the new books yet, as WWII is not my naval time period.

Yes, we have 1/600 for Russo/Japanese war. The smaller scale works nicely for large battles.

Any word on this? Is it still an ongoing project? JPK No word on this or any new projects for awhile now.

Played it both ways, I believe they should be able to move and still shoot.

You are correct, they move on from that point. Its different than setting up in that they won't move as far into/on the table.

I'm about to come back around to playing space battles. I have lots of stuff painted, but need a new reason (rules?) to get me over the top. Anyone in that same boat?

What are everyone's wargaming plans for 2018?
I plan to paint and play lots of different land/air games including coming back to the sea. I have a mess of ancients to paint and play along with my excising fleets for age of sail, Civil War, Pre-WWI and WWI.
